Creek and Ice Safety
Wascana Creek forms one edge of the park. Keep your dog under reliable control near the water, and stay off the creek ice during winter because ice conditions may be unsafe.
About This Park Community
Cathy Lauritsen Memorial is one of Regina’s year-round off-leash dog park communities. The park welcomes dogs of all sizes and offers a different experience from the City’s fully fenced neighbourhood parks.

All-Dog Area
Cathy Lauritsen Memorial is designated for dogs of all sizes, but the creek-side boundary makes reliable recall and attentive supervision especially important.
Park users are responsible for evaluating their dog’s behaviour, comfort, recall and play style before entering— and for remaining attentive throughout every visit.

The parking-area entrance is accessible from 13th Avenue.
A free parking area is available, with additional on-street parking along 13th Avenue.
Keep dogs leashed while travelling between parked vehicles and the off-leash area.
The park is partially fenced and bordered by Wascana Creek.
Additional local information about entrances, gate layout and park boundaries will be added here.
Information about trails, shade, seating, water, bag dispensers, waste bins, mud and seasonal creek conditions will be added with input from park users.
