The small-dog area is reserved from 10:00 AM to noon on the first Tuesday of every month.
About This Park Community
Mount Pleasant’s small-dog area is physically connected to the larger Mount Pleasant location, but it functions as its own park community.
It has distinct regular users, an OLDPUG representative, its own local knowledge and issues that may differ from those affecting the adjacent all-dog area.
Small-Dog Eligibility
Size is only part of the decision. Park users are responsible for determining whether the small-dog area is appropriate for their dog’s behaviour, comfort and play style.

Access is near the Bulk Water Fill Station. Follow signs for Mount Pleasant Sport Park.
Free parking is available on site.
Keep dogs leashed while travelling between parked vehicles and the off-leash entrance.
The designated small-dog area is fully fenced.
Additional local information about entrances and gate layout will be added here.
Surface, shade, seating, water, bag-dispenser and seasonal-condition details will be added with input from park users.

Pete represents the Mount Pleasant small-dog community on OLDPUG Council. He and his husband, Dan, are regular visitors to the park with their fur baby, Frankie— otherwise known as the well-behaved little brown butler.
About Pete
Pete works for Creative Options Regina as a key support worker, helping to improve the lives of people with cognitive challenges.
Given one wish, Pete would create an indoor dog park open 365 days a year, complete with water, coffee and reclining chairs for the dog owners.
