Meet Sarah Ritchie
About Sarah
Sarah is the Operations Manager with Regina Cat Rescue, where she provides administrative assistance and supports volunteers in their day-to-day operations. Her work ranges from social media and adoption applications to fundraising events and more.
In her free time, Sarah can be found with her dog, Jason; her three cats, Angel, Grey Kitty and Luther; and her two children. She loves to garden, read and swim. Sarah, her children and Jason enjoy spending time at the dog park, where Jason can be found zooming around, sniffing everywhere and greeting the people he meets.
Sarah hopes to see Regina dog parks include features found in larger off-leash spaces elsewhere—trees, swimming areas and trails for people and dogs to enjoy.
Sarah became involved in animal rescue at a young age and often brought home stray animals. One of those strays became a permanent member of her family and lived with them until passing away from old age.
