Shannon serves as Treasurer of OLDPUG, overseeing the financial records and practical money matters that support the organization’s work.
Treasurers are often the unsung heroes of volunteer organizations. Shannon helps ensure that funds are tracked carefully, expenses are documented, financial information is available for decision-making and OLDPUG remains accountable for the resources entrusted to it.
Working with the Executive Committee and Council, Shannon provides the financial organization behind park projects, outreach efforts and future plans—even when the request sometimes feels suspiciously close to, “Here is zero money; please write us a cheque.”
